Unlike a standard Google search, Perplexity synthesizes information from multiple authoritative sources and provides citations, giving you a usable summary with links to the original documents.

How-To Guide: Clinical Guideline Research with Perplexity

Step 1: Create a free Perplexity account

  1. Go to {{tool:Perplexity.url}} and click Sign up
  2. Sign up with Google or email
  3. You'll land on a search interface that looks like a chat window with a search bar

What you should see: A clean interface with a large search/prompt bar, a toggle between "Default" and "Pro" search modes, and focus filter options (All, Academic, Writing, Wolfram|Alpha, YouTube).
